Hyundai is reportedly considering a high-performance i30 which could compete with models from Opel and Volkswagen.
In an interview with Autocar, Hyundai Europe boss Allan Rushforth revealed the car would be a three-door hatchback with sporty styling.
Additional information is limited, but the vehicle could feature the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine from the Veloster Turbo. If this is correct, the i30 would likely have 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque.
